The Eberspächer Group is one of the leading international system developers and suppliers to the automotive industry. Our products and services in the fields of exhaust technology, vehicle air conditioning and vehicle electronics contribute to environmental protection, safety and comfort in vehicles. Eberspächer catem Hermsdorf GmbH & Co. KG is a subsidiary of the Eberspächer Group. Since 2010, the Eberspächer catem product portfolio has also included high-voltage PTC heaters. The high-performance PTC elements (Positive Temperature Coefficient, German: Kaltleiter) deliver high heating power at low surface temperatures of the heating elements, are extremely reliable and intrinsically safe. The properties of the ceramic elements help turn electricity into comfortable heat. In order to meet the increasing demand for the PTC ceramics, Eberspächer is expanding its production and development capacities. In May 2019, for example, the company moved into a new production plant in the Hermsdorf-Ost industrial park. There, the approximately 100 employees will intensify production-related development in the future and realize near-series testing of the latest generations. Innovation is part of the tradition at Eberspächer. This has made the former Eberspächer craftsman's business into a global company and leading supplier to the global automotive industry.
